ANavS has presented its precise RTK positioning system with GPS/ INS tight coupling at ESA’s ARTES Applications workshop at Brussels. The RTK system includes two ANavS multi-sensor modules, the real-time RTK software and a tablet for visualization of position and attitude information.
Dr. Patrick Henkel presents the potential of a Multi-Sensor Fusion of GNSS receivers, inertial sensors and cameras for Precise and Reliable Positioning on April 29, 11:00. Measurement results show that a centimeter-level positioning accuracy can be achieved in urban environments with low-cost sensors.
ANavS will show its most recent positioning and attitude solutions and services at the upcoming eCarTec trade fair in Munich. We will be located at hall B3, stand 200.
ANavS is one of the nine finalists (one of the three in the ICT category) for the prestigious Academic Enterprise ACES awards 2014, the only pan-European awards for enterprise in university and public research institutes.

ANavS took part in the transport logistic trade fair 2013 in Munich, which is the largest logistics trade fair in the world. ANavS participated in a booth at the European Space Agency’s ESA SAT NAV-Forum for four days and our managing directors also attended the Navigation Conference organized by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development. The conference stressed the importance of new satellite navigation and telematics based technologies for the logistics industry. ANavS showed its new low-cost Position and Attitude Determination System (PAD), which provides a heading accuracy of up to 0.01°.
Federal Minister Dr. Peter Ramsauer visited ANavS booth, in which ANavS’ Position and Attitude Determination (PAD) System was shown and explained.Dr. Patrick Henkel, CEO of ANavS, presented our Position and Attitude Determination (PAD) System to Hendrik Osenberg, DLR engineer and SAT NAV-Forum organizer, Dr. Peter Ramsauer, Federal Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Development, and Frank Salzgeber, head of ESA’s Technology Transfer Programme Office.
ESA Director General Jean-Jacques Dordain, Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs Martin Zeil, and member of the board of space administration of the German Aerospace Center DLR Dr. Gerd Gruppe visited Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO) to celebrate the creation of 1.000 new jobs since 2004 and to sign an agreement to extend the ESA BIC Bavaria programme.
ANavS presented its new attitude determination system to Jean-Jacques Dordain, Director General of ESA, who was on board of a car with ANavS Attitude Determination System during a test ride.
