The transport logistic is the world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management, and acts as the business platform and driving force behind the global logistics and transport industry. The German Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Alexander Dobrindt, visited the transport logistic and met the managing director of ANavS, Dr. Patrick Henkel.

The German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure has published a Call on “Automated and Connected Driving on Digital Test Areas in Germany”.
ANavS has received a grant for the development of a precise Multi-Sensor RTK positioning system for highly automated driving.
ANavS will present its precise RTK positioning system at the Navis Center in Hanoi, Vietnam, on June 19 – 23, 2017. The presentation is supported by the BELS project (Building Links between Europe and South-East Asia).
ANavS offers a breakthrough solution for position and attitude determination with centimeter-accuracy and minimum weight and size. The system includes a multi-GNSS receiver for receiving GPS, GLONASS and Galileo, an inertial measurement unit (IMU), a camera and a barometer. The tightly coupled sensor fusion allows a precise solution even in challenging conditions.
Applications: vehicular navigation (ADAS), UAVs, maritime navigation, geodesy, environmental monitoring, …
Visit ANavS at Hall 5B, Booth 315/414.
The conference “Kooperationsforum Fahrerassistenzsysteme” took place at the Stadthalle of Aschaffenburg on May 12. ANavS made a live demonstration of its real-time RTK positioning system, i.e. the position and attitude of a model train were determined with three ANavS multi-sensor modules with centimeter accuracy in front of the beautiful castle “Johannesburg”.

ANavS has presented its precise RTK positioning system with GPS/ INS tight coupling at ESA’s ARTES Applications workshop at Brussels. The RTK system includes two ANavS multi-sensor modules, the real-time RTK software and a tablet for visualization of position and attitude information.

Dr. Patrick Henkel presents the potential of a Multi-Sensor Fusion of GNSS receivers, inertial sensors and cameras for Precise and Reliable Positioning on April 29, 11:00. Measurement results show that a centimeter-level positioning accuracy can be achieved in urban environments with low-cost sensors.
ANavS will show its most recent positioning and attitude solutions and services at the upcoming eCarTec trade fair in Munich. We will be located at hall B3, stand 200.
ANavS is one of the nine finalists (one of the three in the ICT category) for the prestigious Academic Enterprise ACES awards 2014, the only pan-European awards for enterprise in university and public research institutes.
The president of Colombia awards a distinction every year to 100 Colombians who are successful living abroad, including artists, athletes, designers, economists, entrepreneurs, physicians and scientists. Juan Manuel Cárdenas, co-founder of ANavS, was awarded this distinction in 2013 for his career as an aerospace engineer in the emerging Colombian space program and as a satellite navigation entrepreneur in Germany. He was invited to a ceremony hosted by president Dr. Juan Manuel Santos at his official residence. His profile was published at the Bogotá international airport and the main Colombian embassies abroad.
