Jane Jean Kiam, software developer at ANavS, received a VDI prize 2013 for her excelIent master thesis on “Low-cost GPS-based Compass with Reliable Ambiguity Resolution and Cycle Slip Correction“. The award ceremony took place at Knorr Bremse on November 15, 2013.

Patrick Henkel and Patryk Jurkowski won the first prize in the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) in Bavaria in 2010, which included an incentive funding of 35.000 € of the Bavarian Ministry of Economy, I nfrastructure, Transportation and Technology, and an additional incentive funding of 25.000 € of the European Space Agency (ESA). The award included a plaque and a prize money of 5 000 €.
